What are claims?

An insurance claim is a formal request to an insurance company asking for payment for treatment provided to a patient. ICE allows you to generate non-orthodontic, orthodontic, or courtesy claims which can be submitted electronically or by printing paper claims and mailing them to insurance payers.

Who can manage claims?

Claims may be managed by different personnel in your organization:

  • Front-Desk Administrators
  • Office Managers

What can be required by insurance payers from claims?

Insurance payers generally require key information displayed on claims to process them successfully. Information can include:
