Add a referral collaboration

Collaborations let you communicate with other providers inside the system to discuss findings or treatment options for the patient. You can create a new collaboration from a referral.

A collaboration you create this way is linked to the referral and you can also access it from Provider > Collaborations or the Provider Collaborations panel.

1. Select Add New Collaboration
   
2. Repeat steps 2-6 from Create an internal collaboration
   • The system automatically adds the patient from the referral to the About Patient field of the collaboration.
3. The collaboration is now linked to the referral

To open the collaboration after to read or respond, select the collaboration's subject line listed in the referral

• You can only read and respond to collaborations that include you as a collaborator.

To remove the collaboration link from the referral, select X
