New

Imaging

  • Ability to upload and store DICOM images.

Patient Files

  • Users can now drag files or folders directly onto the Patient Files Panel for uploading. Note that files uploaded by dragging will not have a file type.

Improved

Collaborations/Tasks

  • When creating a task/collaboration from a panel, you now stay on that dashboard rather than being redirected to Provider - Collaborations.

Dashboards

  • On report panels added to any panel view using the detailed list display for a report template, there is no longer the extra white space on the left with text "Scroll right to view more columns >>". Note that users may have to enable scroll bars to always be shown from their operating system settings.

Data Import/Export

  • Minor improvements were made to import/export of referrals, custom field values, audit events, patient files, providers, fee schedules, and provider settings.
  • Various improvements and bug fixes were implemented.

Health Facts

  • After adding a health fact from the patient sidebar, your "Health Fact Type" selection and text is retained.
  • The link to ICE Medical Support System has been added back to Health Facts.

ICE Help

  • A new article regarding Tasks that has been added to the Knowledge Base. This article is now linked from the "Help" option in the panel toolbar on the following panels: Patient Tasks, Provider Tasks, & Practice Tasks.
  • When a provider's localization language is Spanish, the help links from panel menus now direct to the Spanish versions of articles. When there is only an English version for a particular article, then the help link goes to the English article.

Practice Settings

  • There are two new columns (Clinics & Duration) in the Appointment Types table under Practice Settings - Scheduling.
  • There are two new columns ("Primary" & "Collapse Empty Columns") in the Schedule Views table under Practice Settings - Scheduling. The "Size" column was removed, as it is a setting that no longer exists, and the "Availability" column was renamed to "Used in Scheduling".

Release Center

  • From References - About, there is a link to the Release Center under the Version Number: "Visit the ICE Health Systems Release Center to explore what's new in our release summaries and recent project highlights."
  • The ability to show or not show the "What's New" pop-ups when the ICE software has been updated to a new version is now a permission available for assignment to provider groups. In the event a practice does not want this permission available at all, ICE can configure their server as such.
    • Please Note: To enable the pop-ups to appear, an administrative user will have to go to Practice Settings - Security Management - Provider Groups and for each applicable group under the Assign Permissions tab, select "What Is New".
  • When a search for an individual finds no results and the user clicks to create a new individual in ICE (e.g. a patient), the name fields will now be automatically filled in using the names typed in the search box.

Telehealth

  • Notifications when adding participants during a session have been improved.
  • Updated layout for Telehealth sessions such that participant videos do not overlap the primary speaker or the screen share.

Treatment Planning

  • On any of the filters in the charting filters, the 'From Date' can no longer be set to being past the 'To Date'.
  • The trash can icon is now always visible at the bottom left corner of the Treatment Planning panel.
    • To delete a proposed treatment, simply drag it to the trash can.
    • Existing findings can be dragged to the trash can, which will change their status to "No Longer Present".

Dashboards

  • You are now able to delete a panel view that you have shared with another provider.

Demographics

  • Inactive address types are no longer displayed when adding new contact methods. If there is already data for those inactive types, then it will be displayed but grayed out.

Documents

  • The PDF version of a document submission now displays the available choices or selection in the same order as shown during document submission.

Insurance

  • Addressed various bugs.

Odontogram

  • Visual of a crown material finding will now display correctly if micro surfaces are turned on.

Reporting

  • Fixed an issue when searching by tooth in the "Reason for Treatment" report.

Search

  • Fixed the issue where certain recently viewed providers were not appearing in the search results (e.g. Collaborators, Search, Providers in Appointments).

Tasks

  • Fixed an issue related to adding and removing a due date on a task.
  • When selecting the action "New Task" from the Provider or Patient Task panel, it defaults to the type "Task".

Treatment Planning

  • Fixed the issue of not having a yellow highlight on the changes in the history table of treatments and findings (general procedure list).

Validation

  • The contents displayed on validation panels have been updated as follows:
    • Patient Requires Validation Items: Displays ALL validations required for that patient.
    • Patient Can Validate Items: Displays ONLY items that the logged-in provider can validate for that patient.
    • Provider Requires Validation Items: Display ALL of the logged-in provider's work that needs validation for all patients.
    • Provider Can Validate Items: Displays ALL items that the logged-in provider can validate for all patients.
